Just ordered 2 of these to collect in store. Cheapest online from what I can see.

* Musical greetings and rewarding sounds.
* Removable trainer seat fits most standard adult toilet seats.
* Sticker dispenser and tracking chart to reward your child.
* Deflector shields for boys.
* Potty tips included.

It may not be useful to everyone but I know from trying to potty train my childern they sometimes need a little incentive to sit on the potty. Im hoping this will make it a lot easier. I also find the standard pottys we have which we bought from poundland aren't very comfy and I think this is another reason why they dont like the potty.

Me too. My children find it impossible to get it all in the potty and most of it goes on the floor so im hoping this will solve our problems. :)

With the musical greetings and rewarding sounds, I'm sure my kid won't want to stop the rewards and will still be using it when he is 15!

Completely agree. 98p little angels potty from Asda did the job for our son. Trained within a week but then he wasn't rushed into doing something he wasn't ready for.

In the process of PT my littleone at 2.5 (decided to wait to make the process less painful). The only things we used were as a star reward chart from a pound shop and a padded toilet seat inserts to allow them to use the proper toilet.

Suggest that those two items are a better bet (and cheaper) than some white plastic tat that blasts out the chorus to Tina Turners "You're Simply The Best" everything they empty their bowels.

This is a brilliant price for a really good potty. I paid £30 2yrs ago and mines still going well. 1st son fully potty trained with this and 2nd is now showing alot of interest. The fact it looks like a big toilet is a real win, the potty bowl is nice and deep and wide, i never had any little boy accidents with this unlike normal pottys.

Wow, it makes you wonder how humans survived before this was invented. How can people suggest this piece of crap is a gimick?

I have one of these and its great my wee one used both toilet and potty and it was a great incentive as my wee one had a fear of using her potty thanks to the hospital so yeah its a bargain and not a ohh my kid didn't need it debate! Health visitors think this is a great invention and they are now recommending 3 years old for potty training. Hot!

my son had one similar when he potty trained, so what?? he goes on the toilet fine now, cant remember him ever being dissapointed when it didnt play him a tune. I probably wont get one for my daughter who's not ready for pottys yet, cos it is pretty minging when it comes to emptying the thing, may just stick her straight on the loo. but each to their own, is quite cheap for this kind of potty tho.

I wasn't saying you wouldn't survive without one of these I was merely pointing out that it can help with potty training as it is renowed for being a difficult for some parents, NOT all, some.

I am currently trying to potty train my second daughter who is 2.5. She does need some encouragement but we are trying a reward chart. I'm not buying an expensive potty!

Thank you for all the relevant help and advice, but this is a deals thread rather than the misc forum so I've tidied the thread slightly - please feel free to have a discussion on potty training in the misc forum though, thanks :)

Good for you! A clap and a cheer is a reward for a child. I'd be interested to hear at what age those who see this potty as an incentive started to train their child. Something tells me that they might not quite be ready...

Got one of these and they are indeed bulky, gimmicky and unnecessary. Novelty effect wore off rather quickly
