Niche solutions for commonplace items rarely do well on here sadly. I'm obviously not privy to the data, but I suspect most see deals when browsing and click the +/- symbols without ever reading the OP.

Also, despite this being a deals website, the temperature of each post is often aligned to its place in popular culture (iPhone deals almost always going stone cold) or simply "is it ridiculously cheap, irregardless of whether I would ever need it" (Android app deals & one-off reductions in Tesco Metro in Stranraer).

But don't think that if a deal doesn't go hot it's not helpful to many. Some of the best deals I've had on here are ones which have had little to no heat, because they are prices which wouldn't be on the radar of most people as they were niche products - fast memory cards, premium cycling equipment, imported games).

Good deals are good deals regardless of their 'heat' and I think it's important posters aren't discouraged or demoralised if their post doesn't quite do as expected.

Aldi selling a knockoff for £35

It's all about power. This high end blender has more than 2200W.

I have one of these and it is superb. I have had other blenders too.......
What is the point of saying Aldi are selling etc etc - Its not this one so is irrelevant.

Couldn't agree more with every point you make!
(My post was entirely flippant sarcasm). The best deal I ever had from HUKD was a fridge freezer and aptly was voted freezing - but a better deal had never and has never been posted.

Nicely put. Just imagine how cold it would have been hard the words Jamie Oliver been in the title!
