Sagem. Wasn't that the make of countless numbers of freeview boxes that were bricked last year following an over-air update?
If so, and assuming that would never be allowed to happen again, seems like a good price for the features.

We had one of these, it was fine before we scanned for new channels :roll: then it found none and was dead :x. I doubt they'll kill off sagem stuff. i think sagem had nothing to do with it, it was more likely the bbc, and trying to squish more channels onto the air, something like they "split the signal" whatever that means.

What's your opinion on Sagem? Easy to use? Good quality? Reliable recordings? Any info you have is much appreciated!

I bought mine for £93 from Asda on Saturday, it is crap, doesnt record everything on the series link, records random programmes, randomly freezes etc. so mine is going back and I wont be getting another
