Looks a good deal for a cheap bluetooth phone especially now with the stricter penalties for car use, this combined with a cheap bluetooth earpiece means no more excuses. Good deal.

Thanks whiskymincher :)

Good price for a mobile phone with descent camera & BT under £40
Thanks edi, good price for this phone ..
Do you know if it is possible to unlock this phone?
decent spec for under 40£.

It can be unlocked, but it looks like its a tricky one ( so probably won't be done by many unlockers). A quick online search brings up a cost of £15 ( inc return postage).

Virgin will unlock for free after you have topped up by £30 or more.

It looks a good spec phone for the money. I prefer these flip phones to the sliders ( with their large unprotected screens, and awkward keypads). It looks very much like my samsung e720
Can anyone confirm Virgin unlocking the phone after £30 top up? I couldn't find any details on their site. Is that definitely available for all virgin mobile phones?

Thanks in advance, appreciate the help.
I had a previous Sendo model phone unlocked by them for free. Just looked and they still do it -taken from the ask a question part of the site:

If you'd like to use a SIM card from another service provider in your Virgin Mobile phone, you'll need to have your phone unlocked first.

We can do this for you, absolutely free of charge, if you've spent or topped-up with £30 or more in airtime since you've bought your phone. Or, if you've made your first call before the 1st August 2001.

To get the ball rolling, just send us an email and let us know the following info:

· Your name and address
· The make and model of your phone
· Your Virgin Mobile phone number
· Your phone's IMEI number - that's the number that appears when you type *#06# into your phone.
· And finally, another number that we can reach you on.

When we have these details we'll be able to send your unlock code to you within 7 days. In some cases we may need to contact the manufacturer of your phone to get hold of your unlock code. If this happens you'll receive it within 30 days.

If you have any questions along the way, just give the team a call on 789 from your Virgin Mobile phone, or 0845 6000 789 from a landline and we'll help you out.
feature wise these look good, but, its a sagem... has anyone had one of these - i've steered clear of sagem's in the past for many reasons, is this one worth parting with any money for or would i regret it?
Well I called up virgin and they confirmed it can be unlocked. I therefore reckonit is worth the money.
Thanks, bought for my dad and its been excellent for the price.
