Good deal, bought these myself last weekend.
If there aren't any supermarket offers on free range eggs, I'll buy them from my local butcher for £1 a dozen. This same deal is around in various local shops actually.
There really is no excuse for buying battery eggs, it's just laziness.
Large free range eggs are 99p for six all the time in HomeBargains
We pay £1 - £1.50 for a dozen eggs, depending on where we get them from.

I know this will come as a shock, but you can buy eggs from places other than supermarkets.
Plus in most cases you'll see exactly where and how the chickens have been kept.
So ... win win
