Tesco and Sainsbury are, in my opinion, the two worst supermarkets for meat. Have tried from both in last couple of months and both are disappointing. Asda is ok, surprisingly Aldi is good, and Morrisons the best of the big names. Again, that's just my view but I do have a pretty good idea what I am doing in the kitchen ;-)

Having said all that when I can I use my local butcher; sometimes it's better value but always it's better quality.

Asda is the worst for meat.. especially their chicken - for decent meat Waitrose, Marks or your local butcher - again this is just my opinion
