It seems to be new packaging which have the new price on. When I went to sainsbury's they only had 2 pints on the shelves but asking they had the 4 pints for a quid in the back. i'm guessing they've just released them so if you don't see any on the shelves ask.

Red is normally entirely skimmed - do they have entirely skimmed too?

HOT anyway.

thats still £1.44, this (orange top) imo is a nice balance between 0.5% red top which too me is too much like water and semi skimmed
#3
They got cravendale at a cheap price also ;)
#5
the 1% is less fat than semi skimmed but tastes virtually the same and isnt watery like skimmed. It has been out in sainsburys for a few months now.
#6
tastes good.
#7
it is yummy

1% fat milk scolds too easy when I make my lattes with my coffee machine - cold!
#9
[referring to Deb's milk] I see you're drinking 1%. Is that 'cause you think you're fat? 'Cause you're not. You could be drinking whole if you wanted to.

ASDA are doing Cravendale at £1
and also I enjoyed the Tropicana 'Cloudy Apple' juice (not from concentrate) - 1litre for £1, reduced from about £1.90

this is a hot deal...heat added

Everyone moans about totally skimmed being watery!!!!

I LIKE totally skimmed.
#13
Me too, but I may get the wife to get this when she goes tomorrow, we are away on Monday and this may mean that we can just buy this rather than skimmed for us and semi for the kids.

I was in Sainburys yesterday, but they had none of the 4 pints in stock. I really like the product, they have had this kind of milk for years in the States, it is nice to get it here now. Unfortunately my local Sainburys only ever have 2 layers of a milk trolley with the 4 pints on, so it is usually sold out :x

Putting British farmers out of business buy cutting the price just so you can get cheap milk.

none in my store...pound mark up price turned over....too much demand!

Normally I buy totally skimmed but thought I'd get this today after seeing the post on HUKD........ surprise surprise no 4 pinters available..... only 2 pints at £0.80. So I stuck to my skimmed. Saving calories not so exciting as saving money though :-(

The 1% milk is still pretty new so they aren't tending to stock to much, even though it's on offer my local store only has about 50 bottles a day. The £1 offer is very good and the milk does taste good. Much better than skimmed if you want the semi skimmed taste but with less fat. Cravendale at 99p is a great offer too but think that will end soon.
#21
Im skeptical if this tastes nice. Will try it though.
#22
Cravendale offer has finished but this is still £1 for at least another week.
