Sainsbury's Own tinned olives 75% off making tin of olives start at 11p
Was in Sainsbury's today and noticed that many of the tinned olives were 75% of their usual price making the tinned olives start at just 11 pence a tin and at the dearest were about 38p, there was definitely black olives, sliced black olives, and queen green pitted olives, for more info i just use sainsburys website and put in groceries search box "olives" and it show the full list, unfortunately linking this website doesnt work. This should be nationwide it seems. Would seem offers available Online and in store.

They may not be as good as fresh olives but the black olives are very, very good for cooking ie. pasta/pizza, also my kids love eating them straight out of the tin!

Imagine something really bitter and foul like Marmite and you are almost there.
Good price but possibly the only thing that I just can't like and find repulsive.

bitter and foul?? what you tried was not olives.
mostly from spain,middle east and mediterranean countries.
Olives I would imagine....:p
probably taste of ferrous gluconate - better to go for jars of kalamata olives, which typically contain olives, water, salt & vinegar, and taste wonderful

Never ever heard off anyone eating fresh olives. Home baked by the people who grow them yes. but fresh "raw" sorry never.
