Just bought an insurance for our dog and this seemed to be a fantastic deal - especially with the £50 cashback from Quidco if it tracks!

As a guide price - it came to around £14 for a labrador bitch with the higher spec insurance and around £9 with the lower. (per month)

I couldn't find a post for this deal and this is also my first post so please don't bite! (sorry about the pun ;o)

Sounds good... plus I'd get £15 vouchers for being a 'Sainsbury's colleague'

Seems like u are only covered for £7500 per condition for the life time of the pet... seems reasonable for minor conditions but useless for long term illness such as skin condition, bone and joint disorders, heart conditions etc. Once your benefit runs out your on your own, u can't get another ins as the new insurers will not cover existing risk (they call this pre-existing conditions).

Be careful when taking pet insurances, look for the long term benefits rather than short terms benefits i.e. £50 quidco or double points... vet fees are rising every year and £50 will probably get u 2 months worth of medication (depending what u are getting of course).
