Available in-store or online, these are the best munchies in the world and they're far too addictive. In my opinion they should come with a picture of a needle on the packaging like cigarettes do. If you've never tried a Sainsbury's Granola Slice then where have you been living for the past few years? Ladies, these are better than sex. At least, that's what my girlfriend tells me.

Usually £1.50, or £1.65 if you live close to a rip-off local. I realise these are regularly on special offer but I thought I'd let people know that they're going for £1 right now. I've just bought 10 packs from my local Sainsbury's so that's a saving of £6.50. I may pop down tonight too and buy another 10 packs to save another £6.50.

For all of those voting cold... find me a better offer on Sainbury's Granola Slices. Stick to your health foods, I don't care, but keep your fingers away from that Cold button as this is the deal of the day!! :D And please, no lectures on the ills of sugar; we've heard it all before. It's a governmental conspiracy theory. One minute they say we need 5 portions of vegetables/fruits a day, now it's 7. There's something going on there....

Hold your horses there. That was advertised as cookies, not granola slices (hence why I couldn't find it). Granola slices shouldn't appear in that offer under the title of cookies. I'll ask for that post to be removed, or at least edited. No way are cookies and granola slices in the same league. Keep your cookies!!

Right powerbrick, we either take this outside or you agree that that post could mislead people who don't like cookies but do like granola flapjacks. I wouldn't have clicked on that link as I don't like cookies (complete lie but for the sake of this argument it's true). I can't help it if the poster didn't provide enough information in the title for granola slice lovers like myself. I dread to think how many other granola slice lovers missed the deal. However, thanks to me and my post, now they won't.

Never, ever, ever put cookies and granola slices together in one post. It's one of the 11 commandments.

Not really that great a deal, the taste the difference range in sainsburys is on offer half the time anyway

In Mayfair I buy this every week without fail and let me tell you they are fresh and worth the money !
M&S who do one for 79p where you could buy 4 for £1/£1.65p and the tills are always bloody long to the front door!

By the way this isn't really a deal they just keep changing the price every few weeks so its just your luck really

Yep, it's a repost. Perhaps the title needs to be amended, but these things are on offer so frequently in Sainsbury's, most people know that when the Taste the Difference stuff is on offer, it all is - cookies, flapjacks, granola slices etc.

Mistermadhatter do you empty the shelfs of these, as there is usually an empty shelf when I get there

Oh crap. I've been eaten these far too often and have managed to not buy any this week. I can't. I just can't avoid them any longer. I'm sorry, I broke...

these are good but i find its best to go through the packs on the shelf and gove them a slight squeeze as some store overcook them and they are rock hard.

they should be slightly soft - so they are chewey when u shove them in your gob

Great, thanks. Just tried it and two current deals came up. One for Taste the Difference Cookies and one for Taste the Difference Granola Slices, aka this mega hot deal. It's a real shame the other poster didn't add Granola Slices to the title as I am basking in heat right now. Whooo, pass me the suncream. Move aside Cookies, hello Granola Slices!!

I've seen cookies on offer without the granola slices on more than several occasions. It always breaks my heart but it just goes to show that they're different species.

Cookie gone weird? That's possibly the worst insult I've ever heard. This thread ain't for you. Move along.

Oh my, it's like I've found my double. I do the squeeze test too before selecting the best ones. I also do the weight test to compare packets as some slices are bigger than others. I get some funny looks from people to be fair but they don't understand me like you do. Get this... one time I found a packet that had 5 slices in. It felt like winning the lottery. Can we meet up sometime?

That is the worst experience and my heart goes out to you. I've had that several times myself so I know how you feel. I end up going home and crying myself to sleep.

There's no shame to be had here and you did the right thing. Just make sure you leave five minutes between slices and you'll be fine. Although, if you feel that guilty and remorseful, I could always come over and take them off your hands, assuming you've still got some left. I would do that for a fellow granola slice enthusiast.

Come on, where's the love my man. This is a heads up for people that don't shop at Sainsbury's that often. If I've converted just one person with this deal post then my mission on Earth has been achieved.

Hot. These are really seriously good. A bit like nature valley bars but a lot bigger & nicer- and a fraction of the price at £1 for 4!

I flippin well love these!! I think they should always be £1 but I have been known to pay full price once or twice. There may only be 4, but they're substantial! Heat!!!
#36
I've never had these before.
But from what you guys are saying, if I ate 1 cookie, I'd end up eating 10 in a row.
Hence, I'm not going to fall for this, as I know I will end up addicted.
Good offer though - nice a cheap.

Wow, what a champ! There's a small city store round the corner to my office - guess what was the only item to be sold out in the whole bakery section by 9am!?! Thankfully there's another shop a few minutes walk away that not many people know about and has stock 95% of the time. Need my fix, man oO

I'm guessing it was granola slices? That's like my worst nightmare, ten fold. I feel your pain. I really hope you got your fix in the end? Tell us you're not going through cold turkey...... I'll ship some down to you if that's the case.

We own the bakers, remember that. It's supply and demand. As long as we keep demanding, they have to keep supplying. It's the capitalist way. If it was me then I'd have a quiet word in the local baker's ear.
