Anyone tried the one with Chilli?!?

Sounds odd... but might be interesting! Especially to give to the chocolate mad kids...! I'd pay good money to see their faces....

hahahaha......good one...

Tried the chocolate chilli almonds from Sainsburys and they were really horrible, good for a joke as it takes a good few seconds to taste the chilli, six people tried them and no-one wanted another.

Lindt chilli chocolate is lovely. It's really quite subtle but gives a sort of warming, tingly sensation on the tongue.

Can't speak for Sainsburys TtD though

The offer is not only in one store. I saw it last night in Edinburgh. I bought the chilli one for a taste but I have not tried it yet. So hot for me.

chilli and chocolate are a great (and quite commonly used) combination -- some chilli(-con-carne) recipes say to add a small amount of dark chocolate, imo they are very complimentary :)

Unfortunately the range of chocolates just does not taste good. They are probably tring to get rid of them.
