Was thinking the same thing :)

Guess they don't want to let other stores know what price they are doing it for until the night before. Expect a few threads to get nice and hot on the 7th

I have to say that after the demise of my local much loved Somerfield into a hated CO-OP, I now shop at Sainsburys as the own brand food is pretty good imo. It's good to know the deals in advance. Many thanks. Heat dded.

Just to let you know you can also see tomorrows deals on mysupermarket.com to.

ok hate is probably me going a bit too far, but I find them over priced + I dislike them for getting rid of my beloved local Somerfield.

Somerfield was the exact same, prices were always higher there than my local Asda or Sainsbury's

nice one, bro ~

nooo, def not. Somerfield had much better offers than Co-Op. I know people who have worked in the local (Somerfield, now Co-Op) for many years. They used to shop at Somerfield, now (since a Co-Op) they shop at Tescos because of a lack of deals.

Perhaps it was a local thing? But they were a really good shop R.I.P.

Must be a local thing as our co-op has far more deals than the local sommerfield. Sommerfield is fine if you like buying overpriced black bananas
#17
Thanks for you efforts nicster08 - H&R+

lol.
I could go in there daily and chose a meal for the family based on what was on offer at that time. We were eating really cheaply and like Kings. Be it food massively reduced to sell quickly, or just a deal for the week, it was really good until Co-Op took over the show. But that's my personal experience and I'm sure it differs around the country and store to store, but ours was well run. Still, I'm a Sainsburys man now. :)

I work at Sainsburys, I looked on the system and the price has dropped to £37.97, however it may drop even lower again. I doubt the final price, as mentioned before would be released untill Monday night or Sunday to keep it hush hush :P
