As per the title, Sainsburys is currently selling loose jam doughnuts as 3 for 2.

Each doughnut costs £0.20 and, IMHO, taste much better than Tescos.

Also, my local branch did not have this marked on the shelf and I only found out when I got to the till.

This has been on for ages. They are really nice! Fresh and packed full of jam. And really cheap.
#2
They are nice, but co-op ones are just as nice and you can get 10 for £1.
#3
Aren't all the cakes 3 for 2?
#4
10 for a pound at the co-op ?? mine are only bagged in fives.
#5
They've been 3 for 2 for at least the last 12 months in our local store

Boxes of five are 20p if you go later in the day 8)

COLD.

Morrisons fresh instore doughnuts are currently 5 for 50p.
Flavours: Strawberry, Raspberry, Custard, Apple, and Sugared Ring (6 pack)

Made from scratch in store, proved in store, fryed in store, jammed in store, sugared in store, packed in store.

They happen to be on a par with Sainsbury's doughnuts, imo maybe better. You get a choice of flavours and 2 or 3 more doughnuts (depending on flavour) for just 20 pence more. They also come packed so you don't have to worry about getting sticky fingers until you start eating them.

I often have to reduce Morrison's doughnuts to 9-19pence as they are overproducing the doughnuts especially in the first half of the week.

Being a bit of a donut lover, I can confirm that Morrisons custard donuts are the dogs! But Sainsburys are equally fab. Whereas Tesco's often taste of too much cheap flour?

So when's the best day for reduced donuts?

Yes, two bags for £1. Have been that price in my Co-op for well over a year.

I agree

Whenever i go to Sainsbury (not that often as i dont have one that close to me) i always get a box of doughnuts. They taste miles better than othe supermarket doughnuts.

only issue i have is that they tend to sell out buy mid afternoon.

I have the opposite problem as my only options are Sainsburys or the terrible Co-op.
#22
Yeah all cakes off the counter are 3 for 2 (and loose, depends whether your store has loose donuts).

These taste a lot better than Tesco's or Asda's in my opinion. Not tried any other stores though.
#23
wow good deal 57p each in my local tesco
#24
sainsburys cakes and bread are the best
