Popped into my local Sainsburys to hvae a look top up on my winter supply of Cod Liver Oil and spotted Sainsburys own brand "Basics" Multivitamins and Cod Liver Oil...
...needless to say at 36pence for 30 of each, Ive given them a go...
...subsequently ive googled them and they seem to rate ok on independent review websites...

I couldnt get the link from the Sainsburys website to work, but here's evidence of the deal on mysupermarket.co.uk

Finally - the Cod Liver Oil tablets contain 500mg of Cod Liver Oil each and the Multivitamins contain the 100% RDA of Vitamins A, B6, B12, C, D & E. As well as 100% RDA of Thiamin, Riboflavin, Niacin, Folic Acid and Panthenic Acid.

Take these at this price and hopefully, like me, you'll all grow brainier and stronger lol

I'm not an expert or anything, but from research, you get what you pay for, you should NEVER buy cheap cod liver oil, always stick to the top brands, such as seven seas..etc.. it is not cheap but this is your health. A lot of cheap brands, specifically own label store brands, may contain contaminents, mainly being mercury. so you should stay clear of cheap brands.
:p

Probaby... you have the RDA within the multi vitamin but from my own experience, it does no harm

Theirs no zinc in the multivitans pills anyway so you should be ok, asda do a mens vitamin suppliments for 60p that has zinc as well as other multivits and minerals for mens health

Actually it will be better to take the zinc straight after taking cod liver oil, as cod liver oil increases the bioavailability of zinc (Both cod liver oil and Zinc are better absorbed when taken around the same time).
