'They are called Butchers Choice, because he could no think what to do with all the left over fat, cheeks , tongue, tripe, feet etc. Then came up withthe idea lets make sausages with it ;-)
#3
Same as Sainsburys butchers choice in fresh aisle. Either 68% or 72% meat content dates on some are end of April 2011 hence price
#4
Isnt that the content of all sausages??
#5
The fresh Sains butchers choice sausages taste better than the Tesco or Morrisons equivalents.
#6
These Sausages are between the quality of the standard Sainsburys Sausage and taste the difference.

They have a good meat content and usually I think abourt £2 a packet?

Scan as 25p in Dartford Sainsbury (but marked up as half price- £1) so were still some packets left
#8
i got these in croydon today ...... not bad sausages taste great in a bun with mustard !!!! marked as a pound there also but scaned at 25p so a real bargin to be had
#9
Which one please, West Green or town centre?

Thanks for this OP.

Bought 4 packs of this and 4 packs of the Butchers Choice Lincolnshire sausages (also 12 pk) which are also 25p and dated to June rather than May.

Bought from Shirly, Southampton. Were labelled (SEL) @ 1.99 but rang through @ 25p.

Normally £1.99 each so 8 for £2 is a bargain! Will easily last longer than the date on the packet :)
