I bought one a couple of weeks ago at this price & it is huge! I had to throw some of it away in the end! Gorgeous though & well worth £2.74, it could even be used as a Birthday cake if you decorate the top! great price:thumbsup:

These have been on offer for a while, well worth £2.74, not a fiver though.

Froze one kept the other in the fridge, all gone now though!

Not sure how it would work as a birthday cake though, needs microwaving?
#15

I have bought stacks of these on the times they go half price and have never heated any of them up, always eaten from straight from the fridge. So I see no reason it couldnt be a birthday cake.

and the person who said they threw some out, shame on you, we open and eat the whole cake in one day.

Because once it's been in the fridge it's quite tough and it's intended to be heated? Might just be down to personal preference, but the top layer is quite a sturdy thing to cut through let alone eat cold.

plus if you slightly warm the cake then the heat will help to melt the compulsory scoop of ice cream
