They've known for days in sainsburys swansea, made a big stand and were handing them out to customers. STRICTLY ONE PER CUSTOMER THOUGH.

A piece of foil?

Is this it?

And this is a deal.

**** cheapskates.

To confirm - not a glitch.
It's free - but it can't be JUST given away - therefore you get 1p off of your shopping.
1 piece per customer. You won't be able to grab many of these anyway - besides is it worth your time to keep coming back for these?

Not in the store I work at, the above post is correct but in our store we have to enter 75p which is the current price in manually...so overall AVOID Dalston store :):)
#12
And Cheltenham store, theyre still charging 75p.

If anyone knows of a store with 299,999 rolls in stock I'm off for a 50" Plasma for 1p. Do you think they'd notice on the checkout?

Me and my friend went shopping in Sainsburys on Monday and we picked up 1 each without knowing of the deal. The guy behind the till said go and grab some more. He had to call a supervisior over we got 17 in total but they let us take them. It did state on the till one per customer. This was Lewes Road store in Brighton.

Brilliant.... Do you plan on cooking 17 turkeys for xmas, or trying to ruin it for everyone????

not worth the effort ... For pete's sake, you get 1/2 p in nectar points for each carrier bag you re-use, If you have a big shop, reuse some carrier bags and save pennies that way.

Getting a load of turkey trays will just end up in landfill ....

Might be a crappy freebie but it saves on a bit of washing up I suppose.

They've already been produced so all are obviously going to end up getting disposed of. Your argument is invalid.

you have a point. Let's just hope that they don't produce more as a result of this peak in demand to get a penny off. Now, that would be waste.

Great idea!! I was in sainsburys at lunch - saw a lot of stuff there half price.

There was a 7 inch digital photo frame for 19.99 (Moortown) and I got some Buzz Lightyear slippers which had the price as 6 pounds, but scanned at 3! Bargain! Makes up for the 5 pounds I paid for a calendar which will be half price in a week and a bit!

if you have young kids I can now confirm it works well as disposable sleighs/tobogans if you still have snow

Actually we shared them with other neighbours. They are just bits of foil not like we are taking too many as to stop people getting any. They did have hundreds :-(
