Aware this might not be available to everyone but the Sainsburys store in Uxbridge had an up to 50% off gaming display at the front of the store. Best deals included:

You mean they pay you £6 for that, right? Surely nobody would charge you for that mess.

With Disney Infinity, all the figures from 1.0 are compatible with the 2.0 game and are being given an increased level cap and skill tree to match the 2.0 figures. The 3 figures in the starter set are exclusive to this set so you will need to buy this to play them in 2.0, plus the playset piece from the first game will unlock all the toybox toys from the 1.0 playsets in 2.0. If you want to play the 6 playsets from the first game you need to keep the original 1.0 disc as these do not carry over to the new game.
My 4 year old plays around in the game on the Wii U quite happily with very little help from me :)

Hunters out there. Store specific stock so consider the OP to be an example rather than an expectation :)

To say something useful the Nintendo points card can only be used on the Wii shop (accessible on a Wii U via Wii mode) and DSi shop (while the 3DS eShop has nearly all DSiWare the pricing is in £ rather than points). The same amount of points from those costs £14 and £18, respectively.

Any figures and power discs (of which there is one in the starter set) will work with the PS4 2.0. The playset pieces (one that includes 3 of the 6, 1.0 playsets is in the starter pack) will unlock all toybox toys associated with that playset in the 2.0 game.
The PS3 base will work on the PS4 as well but the 2.0 starter pack for the PS4 will include one anyway.

On a side note there will be a collectors edition of 2.0 available exclusively on the PS3/PS4 and will include all 6 avengers figures, 2 toybox game discs, the avengers playset piece, and a light up Ice Giant display diorama. The Incredible Hulk figure will initially only be available in this pack at launch.

anyone know what 2000 points will get you on nintendo store

On the Wii Virtual Console NES/Sega Master System games are 500-600 points each, SNES/Mega Drive are 800 points, N64 are 1000 points - you can see a full list of titles here

WiiWare titles are also available (see here)

Just a heads up, the WiiWare service had shut down a couple of months ago, so, these points cards are useless.

Just a heads up, the WiiWare service had shut down a couple of months ago, so, these points cards are useless.

You might be getting confused with the recent closure of various Wii Channels, but the WiiWare/Virtual Console services are still available - see http://m.officialnintendomagazine.co.uk/48549/nintendo-closing-wii-channels-and-online-services-this-june/

Nintendo will shut down many of its Wii Channels on 28 June, including the Nintendo Channel, News Channel, Forecast Channel, Everybody Votes Channel and Mii Contest Channel.

Additionally, you'll no longer be able to send and receive messages using the Wii Message board. However, the Wii Shop Channel will stay open so you'll still be able to download WiiWare and Virtual Console games.

Also, Wii Points Cards are still usable as normal, it's just they're not really sold at retail anymore. Anyone who manages to find some though, they're still worth buying and will work fine. :)

Thanks so much for posting OP - I picked up disney infinity for the wii in my local store a couple of days ago. They had none on the shelf, but found one in the store room when I asked. Best price I've seen at £17.99! Heat added xxx
