So they'd be rather small steaks?

About 240g or 8oz = hardly a mouthful AFAIAC.

£10.00 a kg is not bad! Some way to avoid buying chicken from nearly all supermarkets... Could it be horse meat? Ha!

Seriously? for the "average" person im sure 8oz is more than enough, not every dinnertime needs to be a Man vs Food challenge.

Not much protein in 8oz.

31g per 100g which is around 75g of protein per steak. that's a fair bit for a single part of a meal.....

The point I'm making is: a thicker steak twice the weight tastes a helluva lot better.

I checked this out on Saturday - the packs I saw were pretty naff to be honest, thin, gristly and not a deep red in colour more of a light pinkish red.

I skipped !!

The counter steak is sooo much better when it's on offer.

when morrisons steak was on offer ...I asked the butcher if it was the same price as I wanted thicker slices, and said of course ...so had much nicer thicker slices..worth a try in sainsburys!

For sure. Price is per kg, not per steak.

There are no prices on their website, and it appears they only deliver to central London anyway...
