Spotted the deal online but it was still marked at full price in the Lancaster store on Saturday (I was really cheesed off).
It would probably go through the till okay but I decided to leave it at the time.

apparently it is used in grated cheese to stop it sticking together; not sure if this makes it a good cheese or not?? I generally always buy locally made cheese from independent producers where I live in Lancashire eg Dew Lay who incidentally make a great Garstang Blue

Would you rather the cheese all clumped together and defeated the point of being grated? Although I personally don't like my cheese pre-grated, you can't complain about an anti-caking agent in something you don't want to stick together in the packet.

apparently this cheese won supreme champion at 2007 Cheese Awards so it must be fine; old established Victorian cheese makers based in Glasgow
