Just been into Sainsburys and spotted their Thin & Crispy Cheese and Tomato Pizza's down to 55p and 3 for £4. Unfortunately I didnt get the 3 for £4 discount aswell, but 55p per pizza is still a bargain.

It was a shelf edge label so should be nationwide. As far as I could see, all of the other Thin & Crispy pizzas were still the usual price of £2.20.

Hmm... didn't spot that on my pizza run earlier. Looks like another trip is in order.

bargain, well spotted

Likely to be nationwide, as they have recently re-branded most of the Frozen pizza's, so they will be clearing the old style stock.

thanks for that, will hopefully get a few tomorrow; nice to use these as a base for home creation pizzas.

i think the OP was just alluding to the fact that, if you put three of these through the till, they scan at the reduced price, but don't also benefit from the £2.60 that would come off your bill if they qualified for the 3-for-£4 promotion. (something which occasionally happens on offers like this)

OR if you wanted 2 other pizzas as well as this one which would be 55p + 2*£2.20 = more than £4

55p's more than it's worth, disgusting cardboard crap, about as far removed from tomatoes & cheese as is possible. Tesco, sainsbury, asda all the same, Italians must scoff at the modern, crass english gullibility.

As the grim reaper observed - 'glishmen, none of you have got any balls, ..... and yet, the thugs of Europe.

I highly doubt you've ever actually had one of these in your life. As far as frozen pizzas go, I find Sainsbury's do really nice ones. Besides, at this price you can add your own toppings/extra tomatoes - had you forgotten that?
