Sainsburys USB mains charger was £3.99 now £1.00 Instore
Just a simple USB charger, £1.00 is the cheapest you are going to get one really.
Was £3.99 now £1.00
There were lots of deals on similar products in two different stores I have been in recently so I think it may be national. I found this in the small store in Ashbourne.
Last week I also got a dual usb car adapter for £1.00 but that was reduced to clear

Hey lurker, no need to be sarky, it was a perfectly acceptable question. Some devices don't work very well with 500ma chargers.

Box says output: 5 Volts DC, 1000mA max
as said above
And you don't know why they were suspended!
A valid point is one thing...... common courtesy another.
Thanks for the post
Was please with this (though could swear I paid a fiver) when I wandered in to get a Car USB charger from Maplins:

2.1A means I can have the screen on full brightness, be using GPS, 3g and wifi hotspot (friend using laptop pre-job interview) all at the same time and the phone still charges.
Mains AND car usb charger (500ma) with five or six tips and carry bag available for 99p from the 99p store.
Be careful, they also have a USB car kit (only) for the same price.
