Saints Row 2 brings true freedom to open-world gaming. Players can play as who they want, how they want, and with whomever they want in this sequel to the much acclaimed and tremendously successful Saints Row.

Set years after the original, the player finds himself in a Stilwater both familiar and strange and challenged with bringing the Saints back as the rightful kings of Stilwater and bringing vengeance to those who wronged him.

This game is hopelessly broken on the PC. Do not buy at any price. It's legendary for being the worst console to PC port ever. Ever ever.

You're pretty much right. You need a really decent rig to get this to be playable. Lot's of fps and stuttering problems. Really unfortunate because without the problems it's a brilliant game and there are amazing mods for it.

when you can pick up GTA4 for under a tenner, why play this second rate ripoff

On 360/PS3, this is a really fun game.

It is a mess on PC though.

For £2.36 it isn't too bad, despite the bugs. Plus the bugs seem sort of entertaining. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WIe0Xu1EqY0

Glitchy as heck on my old AMD/ATI rig, but runs very well on i7/gtx 480. Yes it is a horrible port, but if your rig is good enough you'll have fun with it. I've poured over 30 hours into the PC version.

Great game, amazing price, crap port.

I just got this on 360 myself :D

i have a 4ghz i7, 24Gb DDR and a 570GTX and this game stutters. Far too buggy.

Sounds like your rig is faulty, I'll give you £100 to take it off your hands but I'm doing you a favour (_;)

Great game enjoyed it muchmore than GTA 4 was more like the old GTA games silly/whacky and fun plus the co-op feature is quality. I haven't had any problems with the pc version im guessing when the game first came out it just needed a monster pc to run it well, I get 55-60 constant fps with max settings, the only bug I noticed was when I got stuck in a wall. I only have a gtx 295 and a q9650 @ 3.8ghz so Moko718 I have no idea why you cant run it well.

I bought this during the STEAM Xmas sale.
It's simply the worst port of any game EVER.
I've tried it on 3 different gaming rigs and it's unplayable (especially when driving).
If you have an xbox it's less than £10 and brilliant.

Like others have pointed out, incredibly awesome and fun on the Xbox 360. Buy for that instead.

Because he think's it'll make his PC better when it won't.

Unless he's into graphics/video editing, he's failed. I'd get up to 12 absolute max, even then that's complete overkill.

Why?
PC ran as a family server amongst other things

as RokkaMan points outs, I'm heavily into graphics and video editing with many, many molitors on the go at one time.

Those who judge me without knowing my requirements, just dont know what they are talking about.

For 99.999999999% of PC users, 6GB is overkill. I understand that. I am that 0.000000001%
