  Forgive my ignorance - but does not cloud gaming mean that the software is not physically on your PC. if so how would you know how your machine runs if the software is not running from your PC.

  Your playing on another machine from your machine, over the internet from what I gather. So anyone with low bandwidth etc, no chance.

  It'll only be in SD though on your PC, and these Onlive games get really blurry so it's not the best of options to be fair.

  basically you run the game from a server so yep its not physically on your pc, therefore no downloads and everything is stored such as saves and your game library online; im on aol and average about 5mb connection, my son plays on a really old dell laptop(D610) and it plays really well, youve got nothing to lose cos its free to sign up and you can try hundreds of games for half an hour trial totally FREE to see how it runs on your setup, if it doesnt work well then just dont buy anything :D
