Actually the Muddyfox things I have received are well worth the price I paid. Sports direct own lots of brands some of which people don't seem to generally be aware of and when a deal is posted for some of those brands they get popular. The moment people realise that a brand is related to Sportsdirect they get their knickers in a twist and regardless of if it's a good deal they shun it.

I have purchased the rain proof trousers befor, and had a mtb quite some time ago and having now owned a proper bike I can say from experience its all tat. Yes once appon a time muddy fox was a very reputable manufacturer but that was 20 odd years ago.

Muddyfox was a good name for bikes when I was a child. Now they use the cheapest parts and charge a premium price. For example the bearings are rubbish.

No harm in spending a couple of quid on a pair of gloves I suppose, but those bike prices are shocking, even at half price.
Also how could they expect anyone to pay £300 for a bike, when the website doesn't even list the spec?

I bought 2 pairs of muddyfox winter leggings just for commuting. I ended up throwing both pairs in the bin as they were so bad and I'd never used one of the pairs. I wouldn't buy muddyfox anything at any price even if it was free I'd value the space in my wardrobe more.
