Currys have an awful return policy.

I once bought a TV from them that developed a fault after 2 months, they refused to refund me and sent it off for repair, after 3 weeks repair it came back with the exact same fault. They claimed they repaired it but by the looks of it did nothing at all.

Much better warranty with supermarkets, usually no quibble money back within 12 months and some up to 3 years.

Sounds about right. I know a manager of one and he always moans about customers coming in and 'expecting' a refund for faulty equipment. I guess it depends on who you get, some managers are happy to sort it all out for you.

The people voting this cold, when they don't even know what is in the sale are brainless children. "Doh I know me not like Currys, therefore all deals bad". I really wish HOTUKDEALS would cull the idiots who don't think about the DEAL, or the fact that the poster has spent their time and effort letting others know. I only hope that the button happy idiots are never put near the UK's nuclear launch button, or else they will destroy the plant on the basis of a bad holiday in Benidorm.

Have some heat from me for spending your time and letting others know that the sale is starting later!

The same could be said of those voting it hot, they don't know whether there will be any bargains yet either...

No heat from me, yet anyway. Thanks for the heads-up though nicster

Do enlighten us how can you vote hot when YOU don't know what's reduced? :whistling:

Everyone knows the sales are starting early, whether it's Debenhams, Marks and Spencer, Currys, Comet, or anyone else ...

Had they repaired it I might have been satisfied but it appears they took it away for 3 weeks and did fcuk all before ringing me up and claiming it was repaired.

whatever you do dont get an extended warranty on computers. next day service? they refused to send an engineer and insisted on sending it off. 7 weeks later, they were still awaiting parts and finally agreed to send me a voucher for an equivalent pc. took 46 days from reporting fault to receiving vouchers just got them today. Me thinks i will wait for xmas sales and see if i can get a better computer for less
