Just buy it from a branded packet in the freezer ;) Cheaper and easier lol, but otherwise if you want fresh fish - good for you.

If you're into sushi and make your own, fresh is a must!

Now to organise some friends to come over and lots of wasabi!

All sounds a bit fishy to me...

If you're into sushi then buying fish from Tesco is not something you would do to be honest. Buy some sashimi grade fish from your fishmonger not this supermarket stuff.
Someone mentioned buying frozen fish but does anyone have recommendations as to what is the best company to buy ?

On my local market (Bolton) salmon is usually available at similar prices, I only buy frozen from supermarkets.
Must admit I prefer fish fingers.

Every year during Xmas and Easter they sell salmon almost in half price.

I bought a whole fresh salmon (about 3.2kg) in ASDA (fresh fish counter) for a tenner last week. We got 18 decent size fillets, and some salmon soup with the leftovers.

Not at all cheaper plus frozen with loads of *****, so even if you freeze this it will still taste far better.

Not everyone has a fishmonger handy unfortunately. But I'm into Shusi and often buy fish from the supermarkets to make it, better and chaeper than buying the packs.

Tried to buy some of the salmon fillets in our Tesco but they will only sell whole fillets (Minimum approx £6-7).

3.49 per kg for whole salmon and then ask the fish monger to fillet it for you.
