Steelbooks are fine for collectors but a waste of time for others. £16.99 is not a particular low price either. I seem to be getting my preorders for most things in at around the £12 - £14 mark these days. Happy to pay that but not £17.

I was going to post a steel book xbox 360/ps3 game i picked up in sainsburys for £8, but i knew it would get cold votes due to being available cheaper in normal case.

I will vote hot for this blu ray as i like to get steel books when i can :)

With respect that doesn't make much sense.

Are we not supposed to be judging items on their own merit? Just because something has a limited or selective appeal does not mean it can't be a bargain!

£16.99 is perfectly fine as steelbook price for a new BD release.

Deal.

Steelbooks are a great investment for collectors and resellers, generally look better than the standard amaray version and often go up in value.
Plus its only £1 more than the standard box
