good price, bought the same ones in asda for £11. They have a great add and weigh function which zeros the reading allowing any bowl etc to be used.
#3
I bought these in Asda too and can confirm that they're great - they live under my microwave :)

Nice spot, ta.

A word of warning: these aren't very durable. I would invest a couple more pounds on a mid-range Salter scale if you are plannning on using it regularly.

+1. I have a set that have lasted about 15 months.

Also one thing i missed with them big style was the ability to measure liquid - which I will pay more to ensure I get next time

However, good price for these even though I wouldnt buy another set. Heat added

Erm... why couldn't you measure liquid?

I put the jug on the scales, zero it, pour liquid... presuming that you are wanting to add liquid by weight for some strange reason?
if you just want to measure the amount of liquid, then surely you are looking for a measuring jug, not a pair of scales? :?

I've just ordered from this site last week- not received my items- had no reply from emails ive sent and when i've rung their customer service number provided it puts me through to the shop direct group (littlewoods, etc) who say theyve never heard of "in2thebasket.com" and it's nothing to do with them.

I paid through Paypal so am just awaiting a refund through their resoltion centre :?

They only go up to 5 kg or so anyway. I like to weigh ebay parcels on food scales, so a no go here. Page isn't working for me.

Scales that measure liquid display in weight, ml or fluid oz. You can pour fluid into a mixing bowl that you have already began preparing in and it will tell you the exact quantity instead of using a measuring jug.

I bought a set years ago without realising they had this feature - now I'm due for a new set its a big must for me!

Ooo - thats worth knowing, sounds like a useful feature - thanks :)

I wonder how that works then, as surely it must 'weigh' the liquid, and then translate that into fluid measurments (such as ml etc), but I would have thought that 100ml of water would weigh considerably less than 100ml of syrup for example?

These are poor quality. Actually, everything by Salter is rubbish.

I bought this from ASDA. It lasted about 6 months before they broke down, and that was with very light/occassional use.

This sounds very worrying! I ordered earlier and I think I too paid by Paypal. Hmmnn!

Has anyone else received the goods they have ordered from this company?

Have received an email confirming despatch, so hopefully all will be o.k..
