Use code TLGD2BOF to save 20% off the current price of £9.75 (which is already the lowest price it's been as far as I remember). The code DOES work, keep trying if it doesn't work for you or use someone else's account.

Excellent set of scales, have used one of these for years - I paid about £13 for it and I've never seen it priced this low.

The Salter Black & Chrome Slimline Kitchen Scale has an easy to read display with 20 mm high digits and metric / imperial conversion. The easy to clean slimline platform is stainless steel and small enough to store away neatly. Features include aquatronic liquid measure function and add & weigh feature. This scale measures 160 x 180 x 2 mm. powered by lithium CR2032 battery which is included. Salter are so sure that this scale will not develop a fault they have give it a 15 year manufacturers guarantee.

I have these, they are fantastic. Still on original battery (at least a year old, daily use). fantastic price. I think I paid at least double this!

just what i was looking for.

I have this and it eats batteries! I do use it a lot though. Only annoying thing, is that the display is too near the actual scale, so anything with a deep curve, such as a large mixing bowl, makes it impossible to read - which sort of defeats the main purpose...

The voucher only works on certain items and this isn't one of them. Try going through checkout and it gets refused

Ordered one earlier and it worked. I've just tried again and it came up with that error, but I put the code in again and it worked. Keep trying.

The item is actually listed in the eligible items list for the voucher:

That's odd - ours are 2 years old bought from Robert Dyas and only just getting to the point where the battery needs changing...my wife bakes a lot so they get used virtually every day!

I haven't had any major issues. Occasionally to view the screen with larger items I prop them up with a smaller container and then reset the display to zero and put the larger item on top. I suppose it's designed with the square shape and small size for easy storage, which is handy.

Code definitely works. It seems to only work once on each account - I had to reorder on my mother's account to use it again.
#12
Definately works. Might be if you have other items in your order. Maybe place the order with only the scales and then go back and order the rest of the stuff.

Bargain. Got one of these from Amazon for around £11.50 a year ago. Accurate and dependable. Tremendous value at this price.

I have a set and they are OK (but no more than OK).
Be aware that Salter customer service is rubbish. The scales have a 15 year warranty (or is it 10) but insist that when (and it will be when and not if) the product fails, they will insist that you produce the original receipt. How many people keep receipts for more than a few years?!
So, having been through this before (a different Salter model), I have now stored my original receipt in a small plastic bag and taped it to the underside of the product.

Their contact details (which took me ages to find) are:

Ordered. Normal scales just don't cut it in this digital age... 8)

These are brilliant scales, got these earlier in the year. Great size too as we don't have that much storage :)

Very cheap - thankyou!

Just ordered, hopefully the battery will last for this one. Bought one electronic scale but the battery lasting was rubbish.

Using this model myself, it really is an excellent piece. Battery lasts very long, I assure you. Am using it every day 4-5 times, and battery lasts for minimum 4 months.
