'Samba De Amigo', the Dreamcast classic that helped to create the now-popular rhythm music genre is back. Created exclusively for the Wii, this vibrant and addictive new game lets players shake to the beats of a samba-infused soundtrack comprised of popular new songs as well as fan-favourites from the original game.

Playing as the grinning, sombrero-topped monkey, Amigo, players shake the Wii Remote and Nunchuk like maracas, in time with the visual beats of the music on-screen. The perfect party game, 'Samba De Amigo' is packed with lively stages and a host of colourful characters. More details about this exciting new title including a full song listing as well as new special features will be revealed over the next few months.

this any good? liked donkey konga which had 4 'moves' but wasn't particularly good at it. (cleared a couple on hard just)
nice price any way - hot.

Excellent price. I'm gonna wait a few months before purchasing as I bet it will be under £10 soon.

This is £10 in Sainsburys in the DVD clearance section, saw them in 2 different stores so should be quite readily available

This is terrible , and not sensitive enough, its annoying and almost impossible to hit all the notes and do all the moves because even when you do it it doesnt detect it soon enough or at all. Nowhere near as fun and simple as Donky Konga e.t.c.

The first one was apparently really good, the one for the dreamcast that had proper marracas, the Wii one just isnt good and has recieved bad reviews across the bored.

I would say wait till it is under £9.99, I do not see it being worth 13.99.

I have Donkey Konga and was also curious about this game. However, from the numerous video reviews I saw the conclusion was that the Wiimote just wasn't sensitive enough to register the moves properly, which in a rhythm based game is a big no-no!
Kudos to the OP for posting though.

This game is great fun and a good laugh, but wears you out.Had hours of fun with this

Saw this in my local ASDA last night for £9.99

We bought this with the maracas a couple of weeks ago.

I agree it is not perfect but it is still a laugh.
My 5 year old daughter loves it:-D

I have this on rental at the moment - I thought it would be OK, despite the dodgy reviews, but it just doesn't feel 'right' (I have the original DC version + proper maracas ) - sensitivity is poor, and the wiimotes feel too light in your hand. I'd pay a tenner, but no more for it.

Honestly not worth buying. All previous comments are absolutely correct.

The beachball minigame was a laugh for five minutes though.

Did you read any of the previous comments? It does anything but make you laugh, swear and curse maybe, laugh it does not, it is not sensitive enough and just feels buggy and annoying.
