Just spotted this and was about to post it myself! Cracking deal.

Just noticed the image stabilisation is digital only, which is not so good....

unbelievable and from a good brand amazing

Think this is a very decent price, and the specs are reasonable...

If this is anything like the Samsung ST50 i have its shocking! The focus is pants! Hardly a point and shoot camera, very slow to respond!

Good find and good price thou OP

< Those reviews are very good!

Indeed seems you can't go wrong with it certainly for £50

Reet, i'm off for a weekend away and want a good (cheapish) camera to replace dodgy phone pictures... would anyone suggest anything similar to this or is this the one to go for?
#10
£65 seems to be the normal price for this so a saving but not as much as sugggested...

I've always used Samsung digicams (point and shoot type) and they never failed me.
My only take against this beauty is that the battery is not rechargeable....which can be a con and a pro at the same time depending on your taste!
I myself prefer a rechargeable battery and always carry a spare, just in case.

For that price, it is a catch...

One thing....you know that you'll be getting a digicam not a DSLR (i.e. picture quality won't and can't match that of a DSLR)

still HOT

Excellent deal...thx OP

Which is better value for this offer, Quidco or Nectar?

I have the ES15 and would have to agree that the focus is horrendous. Takes ages to focus, and when it does, it's often still out of focus.

However I paid £60 for mine a few months ago, and its ~10MP, so voting hot for the price. :whistling:

Nectar is better - it's 2 points per £1 spend (equiv. of 1p per pound for normal shopping or 2p per pound for restaurants) compared to Quidco and TCB's measley 0.5%

How "thin" is this camera? Surprised there are no videos on youtube about this camera.

Not a fan of samsungs anymore, bought a ST500 (with the dual screens) and i'm not at all impressed with the image quality. Zoom in on a picture that its taken and it gets very blocky quickly.

I dont think you can really get a good idea about a camera by comparing it to a differnt model. I have two sony cams and they are completly different, love the old one, but not a fan of the new one lol

Which Conon camera would you recommend for a simila pricer. I thought £50 was a good price for the spec fhough I could be wrong.

Just bought 2 (one for my brother)

Anyone know what (if any) is the difference between this and the ES17, they both seem to be the same (The ES17 being the 12.2MP upgrade of the ES15, and this camera appearing to be...well a 12.2MP upgrade of the ES15...)
