Just recieved my Seagate 250GB which I got for £19.99 (less £1.30 Topcashback) from the Bestbuy deal that was ona couple of days ago. makes this look like a not-so-hot deal

I've just recieved a cancellation email from BestBuy for my Seagate 250GB. Makes this look like a hot deal.

My Seagate 250GB arrived this morning from BestBuy . Slightly fatter than the Freeagent model I have but for twenty quid it is a bargain.

No, it really isn't that hot a deal.....it's only 160GB for more than you paid for 250GB

I got the seagate one too but in fairness to this deal the 250GB one was a misprice from BestBuy. So we can't just go around saying everything else that's been properly priced is a cold deal.
#7
Cold too expensive, there have been loads of 250GB 2.5 Portable HD deals for this sort of price.

I thought the S2 is a 1.8" drive ?
#9
That's the S1 1.8"mate

I got a couple of the 320gb version for less than this from Orange Accessories (each of course)

As I understand it...
S2 is 2.5
S1 mini is 1.8"

Yeah I think so, but the S2 has the USB interface built into the drive to make it smaller than most other 2.5" drives

Saveonlaptops have this exact drive for £19.97:

My S2 drive is about an inch shorter than the Seagate / iOmega / Verbatim drives I have, but about the same size as a Buffalo 2.5" drive.

Only downside with the S2 is that you can't take the drive out and use it in a PS3 (or another caddy if that fails). But you do get a nice leather case ;)
