Any feedback for the cold votes? I don't think this is a bad deal... Am I wrong? :)

Decent price. Certainly no the cheapest, but close to it.

Don't forget 4% Quidco.

If I was buying the telly, I might be temped by John Lewis at £299 before discount codes (£20 off) and Quidco (3%) with a 5 year warranty thrown in.

EDIT: Voted Warm.

Have you tried adjusting the volume within the sky menu, I used to think the same but it turned out that it was no where near the loudest setting available. Could just be the tv however, also when I watch Sky Sports HD the volume is quieter compared to normal Sky Sports.

I have this telly and it does give a great picture. Be aware though, that the vertical viewing angle is quite poor. I'm considering moving mine to the bedroom and replacing it downstairs with a Sony S4000 which is much better for mounting high up.

Might as well go for the LE23R81 with it's 8000 contrast rating (if you have Freeview box already) from Pixmania for another £100. Then you have 720p support with no scaling necessary, plus all the technology for smoothing motion playback etc. Also that has better speakers and better viewing angle than the r87 series.

In 19" digital widescreens there are a few decent sets around that price (LG 19LS4D, Toshiba 19W330DB); "£100 off" does not make it a bargain, sets in general have just got cheaper than they were a few months ago.

Hi,

Dilemma ! Have just bought LG 22LS4D - does anyone else have one ? this is only LCD TV i have ever purchased so i have nothing to compare to but am i right in thinking the sound is really tinny !! Considering exchanging for Samsung 19in LE19R86BDX . Obviously screen will be smaller but is the Samsung a better tv with decent sound quality , only going to be used in bedroom . Any help appreciated !!! :?

Yes mine is the same. The limited vertical viewing angle spoils an otherwise great small TV.:-(
