i have a samsung 37 inch LCD and its brilliant...

mine has a matte screen so i dont get a glare/reflection in the daytime or when curtains are open....

does this have the same feature? i cant see it listed.

although im not sure my 37 inch had it listed either, but it definetly has it, does anybody know if ALL samsung tv's are in a matte screen or have some sort of anti-glare technology?

i would like to buy this tv but only if it has this kind of feature.....
#3
Spotted this today, very tempted!!!
#4
But no Freeview!

Still good price though and Samsung TV's are excellent for Gaming.
#5
I was looking at the £179 one but freeview doesn't really interest me so this is ideal.

By the way I put the code in for this one in my local Argos and it came up just under £147, due to the VAT cut I guess! So even more of a bargain!
#6
good price for this

Same price at Amazon

just got one from argos £146.80
and got a free £10 gift card

thanks op

Price is actually only £146.80, due to the VAT reduction. Although this has no freeview it is £10 cheaper than the awful argos acoustic solutions 19" LCD!
#10
You get a free £10 gift voucher with this not £5 .. looking better all the time

Not Bad But Tesco Have A 19"technika With Freeview And Its Made By Phillips By The Way And Its Only £126.00 Plus Minus The V.a.t Its On Direct.just Telling You As I Had It 2 Days Ago And Its Amazing T.v I Think.

Definitely hot. I'm browsing the forums on one right now, and mine cost £150 second hand a while back. Great TVs that even accept 1080p inputs if that matters to you.

The only annoyance is that when a signal is lost, the standby light flashes blue on and off, but it's a very minor one solved by me getting off my **** and hitting the button (or looking for the remote!).

Get a 10% online exclusive discount on this product by entering code ELEC10 on the payment page in the checkout. Discount applies to UK home delivery only. Hurry, ends Tuesday 2nd December.

Anyone seen that at the bottom of the spec list? Hope anyone who bought it has!!
#14
although i now realise that it is the 4th today... sorry!
(and when i checked it is showing oos for home delivery...)
#15
same price as play.com but if u geting a argos voucher then even better
#16
heat and rep added, thx
#17
It has speakers? What's the sound quality like? 45 watts RMS power output. vs Nicam sound. 2 x 3w RMS power output what's the difference?

Besides the £10 off why is this better than the Argos acoustic solutions 19" LCD, just because it has 200:1 more contrast? The Acoustic one can be wall mounted it doesn't mention that for the Samsung so I guess it can't?

Although I notice this has PC input socket as well very useful.

Picked 1 up on Monday for my daughters Christmas, just as the TV in her room broke incidentally.

Is this Wall Mountable ??
#23
Mine came with a 3 years warranty onsite replacement/repair, or whatever you call it. Good TV' using it for my Wii and PS3 even the Wii looks half decent on it, through composite cable.

#27
Has anyone used this with the 360 with games like Gears of War 2, Saints Row 2 or Fallout 3? If so, is there any screen tearing?

Is so this Sharp one (Sharp LC19D1EWH) has had reasonably good reviews for the price and is a good deal at £176.

most samsungs arent supposed to be wall-mountable but you can unscrew the stand manually (done it with two different sammys ive had) my advice would be to buy it and return it in 14 days if it aint!

LOWEST PRICES GARUNTEED, WE WILL SMASH ANY PRICE EVEN ON THE NET.

Even though our national network of fun stores aims to give you great service, expert advice, product demonstrations and immediate availability we still don’t want to be beaten by internet retailers who simply put boxes in the post! Although we consistently offer the absolute lowest hi-fi and TV prices on the high street we do acknowledge that we are occasionally undercut by e-tailers offering a bare-bones service and in many cases questionable back-up when things go wrong. But don't fear WITH RICHER SOUNDS YOU GET THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS: A NAME YOU CAN TRUST AND OUR PRICE BEAT TO GUARANTEE YOU THE ABSOLUTE LOWEST PRICES!

If you do find the product you want for less, we will still beat any lower price by up to £100.

• All that we ask is that the product be brand new, boxed and actually in stock at time of purchase.

• We will happily price beat against other web retailers (must include next day P&P when products can't be collected) as long as we can verify stocks.

• Price beat on TVs applies only when the price of a 5 year warranty is added to both theirs and ours. Note our 5 year warranties are incredible value: a fraction of the prices charged by our competitors, just 10% of the purchase price. For example, a 5 year 'at home' warranty on a Philips 32" LCD TV at £399.95 is just a one off payment of only £39.95.

Here's an example of how the price beat works including warranty costs:
Richer Sounds - 37xxx TV : £599.95 plus 5 year 'at home' guarantee : £59.95 gives a total of £659.90
Unlikely Retailer - 37xxx TV : £549.95 plus 5 year 'at home' guarantee : £99.95 gives a total of £649.90

So, with the cost of both warranties added, the other retailer is cheaper by £10. We will beat their price by £10 and sell the TV, including 5 year warranty, for £639.90!

• Our Price Challenge is even valid up to 7 days after purchase!
