It is also worth noting this has both VGA and DVI connectors. So I plug my 360 in the vga and my PC through the DVI, and I just need to press a button on the panel to switch between the 2, which is very handy. This could also be used for switching between 2 PCs.

A good monitor at a great price, but it's been discounted (and on some forums) for a while now, so as with a lot of end of line DSG bargains I expect stock will be very difficult to find.

Trying about half a dozen random postcodes and the nearest 9 stores to each, I've yet to find any stock!

YMMV - Rufus.

Oh, there was stock in my local store last time I checked. :/
#4
Where is your local store? And when did you check?
#5
I can't believe it... I paid £200 for this just a few months ago :-(
#6
I'm glad I had it for 3 months longer and paid £50 more, this is the best monitor I've had.
#7
I wish I'd known it was around at this price I'd have had one.

Dont think - just go and buy one immediately.

I posted this monitor when it was £190 at PC world and its one of the best purchases ive made. ( http://www.hotukdeals.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49675 ) Im not even miffed that its now £40 less than I paid coz even at the higher price its a steal.

What a great find. I cannot recommend this highly enough.

Voted hot!!

I have been trying various postcodes/cities where I may have been able to arrange a pick up for about 2 weeks. No stock... ever!:-(

Rectification: 400:1 Contrast Ratio (not 700:1)

This said, I would have got one, if only they had one nearby... I've been carrying around a £40 voucher, hoping that I'd come across something I'd need from DSG, and I've been looking into giving a well-deserved retirement to my 14" LCD monitor.

Voted hot, great find.

I have seen so many deals at PC World lately, and everytime there is no stock anywhere....
It's now got to the stage that each deal I see, I glance at where it's from and if it's PC World I skip past it. Anybody else given up with their offers ????
#15
Are the quality of these monitors getting anywhere near CRT yet ?

Always found my Samsung LCD at work very washed out and smudgy compared to my vibrant colourful pin sharp Dell CRT at home.

All I can put it down to is timing. If you hang on too long - u miss it. I missed out on a 20" HP coz I thought about it for too long. As soon as I saw this Samsung after the first cut £250 to £190 I was straight down to my nearest PC World store. Luckily for me I was just about to move house I knew I wouldnt be able to justify buying it if I waited, and it looks like I made the right decision.

Any item on any dsg website that has a price ending in .97 is discontinued stock. Tried yesterday to get this, and rang up and that is what I was told

Agree completely. Continue to be baffled how a deal that plainly is no longer even lukewarm (in fact, its probably superconductive by now) has doubled its temperature since 6pm... :?

Given up. Just tried a 30 mile radius from me including 5 large towns/cities and no stock :x

Anyone know If the Novatech 19" Viewsonic is any good at £122? No digital input but wall mountable which as been on my mind for a while.

This is a REALLY good price, however it's been this price online for a couple of weeks and I haven't been able to find stock available anywhere in Essex or in London :-(
