I've had my eye on this monitor for a while now. This is c. £50 cheaper than I've seen it before. However, seems like maybe Samsung have slashed the price because it's only £306 at Pixmania now too.
Is this SIPS or something? Coz for £209 (after Quidco) recently you could get a 22" 226BW (TN panel), cant see how £306 is a hot deal in comparison unless this has a fancy panel or something else clever that I dont know about?

My 20" widescreen Dell (SIPS) 2007WFP was only £237.

If Im wrong please correct me if Im missing something.

This one is 22" and cheaper

Specs seem the same with the exception that the PCWorld one has a better contrast ratio (3000:1 instead of 1000:1)
That Samsung Monitor (226BW) also has a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 3000:1 refers to the dynamic contrast ratio which is a different measurement.

What makes this monitor special is that added inputs such as the Component and S-Video Inputs.

If you wish to compare review and specs for these two.

Actually, the main difference is the extra inputs on the 215tw. The component video input allows you to play a games console through the monitor without the need for a vga box. I haven't seen any other monitor with them. It seems a lovely monitor, but the price is still a bit too steep for me to be able to justify it to myself. Oh and it has a pivot function to rotate the screen 90 degrees for word documents and other things.
Personally I stuggle to see how a component input justifies the extra over the 226BW or 2007WFP. (200WFP has 90 degree pivot) :?

Strange, especially now the PS3 and 360 Elite both have HDMI, which surely renders component less important now?
