Seems pricey for a 23" when you consider you can get 40" TV's for just over £100 more these days!

Like any other supply and demand... these smaller sets are sometimes just as expensive as the larger more massed produced bigger sets. Compare the price on this to say Amazon and its still a good bargin (if this is the size you're after).

I guess it comes down to one's definition of a bargain.
It's the cheapest you can get this particular TV but £283 for a 23" doesn't represent good value for money in my opinion.

Compare it to this Sony 26" Bravia which is only £10 more!!!

You also gotta remember that that Sony is a factory graded refurb... so its gonna be cheaper. Look at the price of a NEW sony s3000U - over £400 at Play.com. You think thats good value compared to a 40" ???

Its the bracket that your in - most peeps DONT want a 40" for their bedroom or kitchen. Whether or not you think its a bargain its still cheap for a NEW branded 23". Yeah i agree that these tv companies rip peeps off when it comes to smaller tvs but thats the market im afraid. Less peeps want them so they hold their price - a kind of specialist item that will always go for more bucks. Shame coz if they were around the £200 mark id have 2 today ;-)

Darn - if only there were some of those 17.5 or even 30% vouchers still floating around. ;_;

Voted cold, old model. Don't need to say anymore.

This "old" model can now be picked up for £255.05 inc delivery using 10% discount code:
WDISC001BCP. Tracked and validated Quidco takes it below the £250 mark, quite reasonable for a decent looking LCD.:thumbsup:
