This Samsung 23" monitor has been reduced from £210.00 to £143.17 on Amazon, a saving of 32%.

I have recently purchased this monitor for much more and am absolutely thrilled with it. It sets itself apart from similar monitors due to its full HD display and a height adjustable stand.

Looks good, but no HDMI connection - would be hand to plug an xbox or ps3 into it as well.

Voted hot! Been looking for a cheapo second monitor but most of them have rubbish stands (no height/pivot, small tilt angle).

They're both 'Full HD'... and the one you posted doesn't have a hight adjustment or pivot, plus it's £25 more expensive :|

Is not all that when you compare with:

Full HD win.

I would recommend the LG Flatron E2250V. May be an entire inch smaller (wow) but the screen quality's fantastic and the price is even better.

Edit: never mind, price has gone up!

just wondering if anyone has any suggestions, but is there anywhere decent to sell monitors to, i know the obvious would be ebay, but i really detest the fees they charge esp the final value one. and amazon i only have a visa debit card, which they refused when trying to set up a seller account :(

reduced because outdated model. no hdmi is a huge disadvantage, and pay a few £s more for LED and HDMI monitor.

Actually the final value fee for 'Buy it now' is not that awful.

Anyway, 23in, no HDMI, TN panel, there is no way this monitor could sell over 200 quid! This is about the normal price, or still slightly too expensive.

yeh this monitor isnt a deal at all, you gotta have not researched monitors in the slightest to think it is

Nobody has said anything yet . . . .

"It's not IPS"

Wait as long as you like for IPS to come down to a £150 price point IMHO

But if you have a need for a decent monitor now (And it's assumed you have a rubbish monitor right now) then for £150 odd notes this and the more other one linked is a decent deal

Hey what are you looking For???
A Good Company?. A Good Product? or A Good Price??

If you're looking for all three then you you have to be a little patient . . . As for me, I am looking for a good quality Monitor and don't mind waiting till the right one comes along . .

( Some things you pay a little more for a lot more, and some things you pay a lot more for very little more )

The major advantage of this monitor is height adjustment and not much else. I think it's a waste buying a monitor today which has no Displayport or HDMI

The BenQ EW2420 is a VA panel so suffers from ghosting and not to mention this model has a lot of quality control issues.

hdmi essential for me.

I've got an old DGM that uses a (P)VA panel and I've never noticed any ghosting. I notice though, if I turn off VSYNC in games, I do get a lot of tearing. Does anyone know if that's down to the panel or is that just what happens generally when you turn off VSYNC?

buy a hdmi to dvi converter for a few quid....
