Just seen this too, what a bargain, shame I'm after a 32"

Wow shame i have a 26" Monitor but this would of been sweet with a hdmi/dvi adaptor :w00t:
#3
This is a good deal considering the 24" version is on for £289.99 on Cdiscount
#4
There is no way I would spend £300 on a 26" TV unfortunately - I like the Samsung models though, I have the 50" model, Picture is great but Aduio is lacking though.

I saw this in pc world as I was going to get it a few weeks ago, but it didn't give a good image

I wouldn't get this blindly, check it running 1st before you buy.

Thumbs up for a 26" Monitor with 1080p at that price.

However it lacks HDMI and 24p - So I can't really do much in terms of Blu-Ray.

Anybody know when the LCDs and Plasmas are going to fall in price again?
I'm after a 37-42 inch TV and can't believe that most of them cost £100 more than they did a month or two ago.

Utter, utter tripe.

24p seems to be the new 'go faster stripe' for tvs now. On a set this size it would mean absolutely nothing at all.

In fact to most people, it DOES mean absolutely nothing at all.

You're a star! Just gotta find an Asda with it in

Prices are suppose to going up, due to weak pound.

I saw the 32" red tv in sainsburys on here last week and went in to have a look after my 18 month old samsung lcd 720p died for the second time in a year.Wouldn't have another samsung again if you paid me, **** sound from diddy speakers and screen went twice, now dead.

Anyway, went into my local store (Aylesford, Kent) and ended up walikng out with a toshiba regza 37" 1080p for £399 with 3 hdmi's and freeview in it, which i thought was a bargin considering. There are still good prices on LCD to be had.
Good luck everybody.

Voted hot.

I went to get one in asda huyton this morning, nice looking tv, but not wall mountable, so no good for me!
#16
Just bought this TV - great picture, sound OK! It says at top(Jamiehartle) that it is wall mountable - but last poster(Brad1977) says it's not!

Does anyone know/can anyone confirm?

this waa taken from http://forums.ncix.com/forums/?mode=showthread&forum=102&threadid=1870224&pagenumber=0&product_id=34434&subpage=0

YES!! The T240HD & T260HD monitor/tv is wall mountable.
Samsung makes an adapter (PN: WMB2400T that retrofit these to VESA mounts. When I callled Samsung Tech Support, they initially said NO they were not wall mountable. After I explained the retrofit adapters I saw online
( eg. Metafore ) the tech did a little more research & found that Samsung DID INDEED make a bracket. It slides in place of the stand and turns upward
and has a VESA plate that in-turn mounts to the VESA wall mount plate.
Hope this helps!
Samsung put me in direct contact with Samsungparts.com with is their authorized parts distributor.
Good Luck!

This man speaks the truth, 24p actually introduces more judder then the standard 3:2 pulldown @ 60hz - making large pans actually look worse - only thing to correct that is 120hz, but that's down to personal taste i guess.

If you don't believe head over to avforums and search for a thread i created called ''over hyping 24p..'' its around 10 pages long :)

Of course it has HDMI :-D what use would a 1080p tv be without HDMI hahaha

Iv got one the picture via Freesat is bar far the best picture I have seen its a brilliant TV/Monitor.

My only grumble is it cant be wall mounted (Samsung say there is a special bracket u can use but i havent been able to find it in the uk)

brightlights
WMB2400T !

Show me a link where i can buy this? I have been unable to source one in the uk
#21
We got one of these from Costco in November and have ben very happy with it (apart from the thing powering up for a few seconds by itself when it's on standby sometimes!) and we thought we'd got an excellent price of £387

Asda have also got the 22" version (T220HD) reduced by £100 down to £200 so we've just bought one for the caravan. Both are apparently deleted lines so when they're gone they're gone.

they have the samsung wall mounts. they are based in Ireland. I'll try and phone Samsung UK and ask them where I can source the wall mount - WMB2400T/EN.

After speaking to Samsung and countless other companies they kept referring me to I finally managed to speak to a someone at Samsung that said the reason that stock is so hard to come by here is because the model number has changed from WMB2400T to TWMB-2400 if you type this into google there is a comapny right at the top who has them in stock called morecomputers.co.uk

Why the model number changed I have no idea, why the bracket manufacturer didn't tell anyone that they changed the model number and only saying the the orignal is now discontinued I have no idea but hopefully this can be of help to someone else having the same issue I was having.
:thumbsup::-D
