I remember paying £1000 for a 26" CRT and thinking I had made a good purchase...

LED backlit LCD TV's are generally more expensive than their CCFL LCD counterpart, less energy consumption, more responsive back light, slimmer TV - alas, vieiwing angle and sound quality suffer, also not great for SD content...

Yeah £399 is quoted on the website, but have added the 17.5% VAT price :)
