Nice price for this set!!! The Samsung WS32Z419D package deal includes a 32" widescreen TV and stand. It has a built in digital receiver for freeview channels, as well as a 100Hz refresh rate, giving you a flicker free picture. It also comes with a FREE GHC50 Goodmans 5.1 surround sound speaker set, worth £129.99 alone! If you use the codes below, you can get this for £474.99 delivered.

The only drawback I see for this package deal is that it is not a slim LCD TV - but if you have no space restrictions, then this should be a good deal!

This is the CRT HDTV Samsung are doing (NOT A LCD) and is not thin but is quite slim compared to normal CRTs but alot of reviews show that it's not that good and do not match LCDs.

Google and judge for yourself

Thanks schizo! Not very many reviews come up through google, although I do think it is talked about on AV forums a bit.

I bought one of these 5 weeks ago and within 2 hours it was back in the box and I was calling Currys to pick it up.

The picture geometry is appaling! Nothing looks square on it. If there was a box in the top left 3 of the sides would look okay but the other was a good 10 degrees out.

And it weighs over 60 kilos!

Shame you had a bad experience Ponce, but that's what this forum is all about - telling each other this kind of information. I had read on other forums that this was a very heavy appliance, but to me that wouldn't matter, as you move it very rarely.

I have been looking into buying this set for ages and have been through most forums and from what i can make out is that the first batch of sets were really bad and samsung admitted that too, but now this new batch geometry etc have been rectified which is why ive decided to purchase it, il let you know how it goes.
Also you can get this set with free delivery (tiscalli199) spend 1p more and get £50 off (perkz50dix) and order through your egg card and save an extra 10% basicaly your getting for around the same price as the ws32z409 a free stand, dvdplayer, surround and digital tuner. cant be bad even if it has problems you can always have a replacement untill you get a good one.
