Has it got digital built in?

This is LCD that was/is on sale in Germany.
Checkout the Samsung site here (Google translator is useful)

I got the a 26" samsung LCD last year. Not had any problems with it and get a great picture. If my TV hadn't gone all together, I would have waited to get a bigger TV and for an offer like this.

This is probably an older model which has likely been replaced by the R87 which comes with an extra HDMI port for about a tenner more.....

Ebuyer have Samsung's latest model for just under £50 more - a better buy in my opinion.
#16
This is a much better telly for a little more: http://www.hotukdeals.com/forums/showthread.php?t=110603 (now £470).

It's what I'm going for. Read my posts in that thread, and you'll see that you can pick it up instore and get a free 5 year Sony warranty with it.

Waffles if i was you i would call john lewis and get them to price match against this tv http://www.empiredirect.co.uk/content/products/details/index~modelcode~SAM-LE32R87BDX~dept~ctv~subdept~LCDTV~make~Samsung.htm
You get a 5 year warranty and it is a newer model, pretty sure this one is old
