My first time...

Just bought one of these after much research - can be found at a similiar price on other sites but the 5 year guarantee clinched it...

Hi
Thanks for posting. I have added an image to your post.
This is a link, made by rayman, which explains how to add images in great detail. It’s worth taking a look at if you are going to post more deals in future : - http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/339941/how-to-post-and-host-images-for-thr/
Or follow the link in my signature.

It is full HD, according to the product info and model number.

If it isn't, it's going back!

Full HD with hybrid HD tuner. Can be modified for .MKV playback over USB. :-)

you link doesnt work,

this similar model, sorry havent compared is £329 at john lewis but it is out of stock at the moment

This is a Series 5 for £400, the £329 JL one was a series 4 and quite a big drop in specs, 1080p vs 720p for a start.

Anyway, 32" series 5 with 5yr warranty for £399 is an absolute bargain.

Same deal was posted before xmas and they were snapped up quick

Although last time it worked out less due to the lower VAT.

surely this is a hot deal for a 1080p sammy with 5 year guarantee? Are numpties voting cold cause they think it's only 720P??
#12
yes this is full HD , some manufactures call all their sets "hd ready "whether 720 or 1080
http://www.idealo.co.uk/product/1517457/samsung-le32b550.html
and about the going rate
#13
Yer, that's a cracking deal for a respectable make and full 1080p

Really good TV, I had one myself a couple of months back, but decided to send it back as it was far too big as a monitor...

About the MKV thing, I couldn't hack mine, it seems the newer ones have two types of firmware, some of which can not be hacked, was a little sad for me but nonetheless, an excellent TV at this price with a 5 year warranty

Welcome and have some heat from me!

whats the sound quality like ?
having heard a few lcds recently its the main reason I still have my CRT.
#17
Not great, but if it's a big concern 5.1 systems are fairly cheap these days.
