I have previously posted a similar deal last week with the toshiba with a free stand:

http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/156748/toshiba-32-32c3031d-freeview-hd-rea/

but now play have extended the deal to this samsung model which some people have said is a better model (3 x HDMI). It is an extra £30 but the stand included has a lot more storage space than the toshiba one so maybe a better deal for someone looking for a larger stand and tv with lots of good reviews. £412 with quidco i make it so not a bad deal with a free £150 stand included.

Continuing the tradition of award winning design is the R8 range which replaces the most popular LCD of 2006, the R7 range. The new HD ready R8 range has a beautiful elegant design with flowing curves that will make this LCD the centre piece of any living room. But the R8 is not just a pretty face, the new range boasts new enhanced technology and up to three HDMI sockets for superb connectivity. Advanced features like Movie Plus, Wide Colour Enhancer and Game Mode ensures the R8 range is the perfect mix of design and technology.

the "Free Stand" orange link button is there , but when you click on it , it says free with Sony TV, from memory, someone on the forum had a problem with a free stand with the Toshiba from Play last week...don't think he ever got it resolved yet....might be worth getting a confirmation before you order...if you simply "add it"...the way you normally add free items....it certainly appears in your basket....but when you look it still says sony????....curious.... :)

Superb tv

Great deal - I've put the TV in my basket and it says underneath 'Free TV Stand' but like Torby says when I add the TV Stand it charges £150 to the basket. Do I assume that if I order just the TV the stand will come with it? I noticed last week with the Toshiba one you had to add the stand to the basket to get it and then it went to £0.00. I'm a little confused and can't find a way of contacting Play.

This seems to be a major problem on the play site as most of the LCD's with the FREE STAND icon next to them are the same - once you try and add them to your basket no free stand appears. Even if you try and add the stand manually it comes up as being extra. Maybe somebody should email Play about this problem ...

My free Toshiba stand shows £1.89 in my order history, after adding a discount code/playtrade, with the TV @ £378.10.
There's the telephone no. at the bottom of each page to contact Play...

EDIT - I justed added the items again into my basket, the toshiba stand price is crossed out with a price of £1.99, so it does work ok, with the toshiba tv crossed out with a price of £398.

The Samsung TV doesn't seem to come with a free stand, it comes with the Sony Bravia 37:

Yep I understood how it worked with the Toshiba one - just couldn't see with the Samsung (although it does actually say in the basket 'Free TV Stand')

Missed the phone number - thanks for that!

I've emailed them - hopefully it should be corrected soon.

Yes seems to be a problem with the site in general. The free stand with the toshiba tv has been taken away too. I will put this down as expired as its genuinely not working. Sorry people
