Samsung 40 Inch 1080P LCD TV - UE40B6000VW

This is an amazing TV. Only £940 including delivery at AJ Electronics. These guys have very good service - I bought my last TV from them.

This is the best price I have seen for this LED TV.

If you're voting cold, you should post a better deal.

In my experience Samsungs seem to have a 13mth live before they go faulty .
Buy a pani and get a tv that will last.

What's the difference between this TV and http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/453755/samsung-le40a656a-40-lcd-516-35-nov/ ?

Is it really worth over £400 more?

the led by samsung is about 1/5 the thickness of the normal lcd, better picture, theres also wee perks like a ineractive bit that has games and gives you food recipes

Ah okay thanks, I think normal LCD is thin enough for me after years of CRT though :p Think I'll save the moneys.

Personally I think LED blows the pants off LCD and Plasma TV.

The picture is so crisp and sharp you can almost touch it.

LED is the future, beautiful TVs, fantastic picture unparralled by Plasma/LCD and this is a decent price

Have the people who voted this cold actually seen this TV in action?
Worth some heat.

LOL This is an LCD.

Don't be fooled by the marketing this has a normal LCD screen which uses LEDs for backlighting rather than CCFL backlighting.

This is NOT an OLED screen.

ive got two samsungs both over two years old no faults, on the other hand a friend of mine (member on here) had a pani and the screen went after 13 months, to be fair with panasonic they repaired it for free even though it was over 12 months old, it was away for 3 months though.

They had no choice other than to repair it, EU law gives a minimum of 2 years warranty on all electrical goods.

I have 3 Sammys in my house - no problems at all. two of them are 17" widescreens which cost £400 each to give you an idea of how old they are !

All my monitors are made by Samsung. One is a 17" LCD that cost £800 back in 2001 (when they first came out). It still works perfectly today.

Awesome picture on these TV's would have bought one if I had the money!
#17
2% Quidco as well, as long as it tracks!

So what does that mean? That you need to go out and buy a new one? Do your homework, if you buy with a credit card you're covered for five years (six in Scotoland).

Must admit...I took a trip to comet just to see what these LED tvs were like...and I have to say the picture quality was sublime. Not sure if its a good price or not cos there just isn't that many around for comparison.

I'm going to hang on till the new year and buy one then when I've seen a few more reviews and maybe a small price drop.
