50hz is a letdown.

If anyone is interested, the cheapest le40b550 (slightly better model) is £513.67 or 498.84 after Topcashback / Quidco more info link below.

this is also a 50hz, don't think you will be able to find a 100hz 40" LCD at these prices, a 32" then yes. They are both pretty good TVs, I looked at both of them while at Comet. (tbh I don't think you could find a 100hz 40" LCD for another hundred)

I have one of these and can't fault it for the money. I use it mainly for PS3 and the image is great. No issue with it 'only' being 50hz...
If you want me to be critical then I'd say the biggest weakness is that SD material can look poor.

extra Hz are only useful if your going to be watching ball sports, there usually detremental to gaming anyway so if thats your primary use really dont worry about the extra
