I was thinking the exact same thing confused maybe it's only certain types, like LCD

gaming TV should be HDR or 4 k in my opinion. still this would be good for the bedroom.

Should see how we load TV's in the vans at the depot mate. You would probably say stuff like "those probably shouldn't be airborne between the pallet and van" or "see that TV box is all scuffed now because you kicked it across that floor of the van.... While it's laid down!". Hrm maybe that's why customers get so many DOA units delivered by us :-)

I think it was plasma TVs that couldn't be laid flat , others it's just in advisable as the screen has greater chance for damage if flat.

Weird if that is the model, comes up as a "hospitality" tv designed for hotels etc, possibly just some old stock and probably has no bearing on how it works day to day, it'll just have some extra menus I should think.

You should be very proud of your professional attitude to your job . Ultimately you will be out of business treating goods in your care like that so well done.

4K? Even for those without a PS4 Pro or Xbox Scorpio? Why?
#18
It's a Hospitality TV which means it has extra menus for configuring / locking down the product. Generally speaking, these displays are not sold to the public, and are sold to trade / hotels etc.

These are generally a lot more expensive than domestic 'consumer grade' kit

Well I'll have you know I worked for Amtrak for years before they went in to administration! Remember delivering a PC base unit to a customer and got them to sign for it, even though you could clearly see tyre tread marks across the box and quite a bit of damage.... Back in the 2001 hay day of delivering Tiny PCs. Pretty sure that was DOA

What's a hotel tv?

A hotel TV is one that's used in places such as premiere inn and travel lodge. not quite your standard 42 inch but big enough for a hotel room :D

Anyone who uses a TV while in a hotel is a loser.

Awww, cos you're too busy getting laid!!!! Right?! You're awesome man! High 5!!!

This is great, I'll pop in on the way to Belfast tomorrow. I am looking for a bedroom TV (awaits red23 saying anyone using a TV in the bedroom is a loser) and this would do nicely.

Doesn't appear to have any Smart functionality, but a Fire stick would fix that of course.
