this is an excellent deal, given that i only have £600 of argos vouchers, basically, this price has went from £1200 to £800 a reduction of £400, though i understand that argos prices are expensive, and this is last year technology, but still this is an amazing TV espically for Standard TV

Why cold, this is hot for this tv.

I have the non 3d one I got with a 5 year for under 800.00 C650 and its a wicked tv.

It has built in games for the kids and internet tv ect, very impressed.

I would have bought this if this was around at the time.

All TV's are 3d ready, you need a 3d source to make it 3d. like a sky box or blu-ray player.

Hot as comes with starter pack worth £120!

Just to note that the 3D Glasses from the 2010 model tvs wont work with the new 2011 tvs.

I am sure Samsung will release a bluetooth and IR transmitter that can be plugged in to the USB socket to make the glasses backwards compatible and make a few more £££ out of their customers.

Well of course not! But he was replying to someone who said this was not a 3D tv as it was only 3D ready and not 3D.

So he is simply saying that any TV sold as 3D or 3D ready is in fact 3D.

Also, regardless of whether a 3d source is plugged in, the TV can upscale a standard 2d picture to 3d. Granted, it's not quite as good as having a 3d source, but the effect is the same.. Coronation Street will never be the same..

i was really stupid to buy the £1200 package with the blue ray, and then a week later £400 down, thats just not fair, but ill ask for a REFUND, aw well ,

this tv is amazing for Standard tv, even though im using an old sky boy with a VERY dusty scart cable, i think its internal processor makes it look really amazing, who needs HD subcription, seriously this tv is amazing

This will probably be my new tv in a month or so.

I have only previewed the 40" version, but it's a very good looking tv with excellent picture quality (when combined with a decent source.)

Seems to be a pretty good price with the starter pack.

As there are two pairs of glasses in the bonus pack, will there be a pair in the tv box and any by redemption?

I shall repeat that not all TVs are 3D ready, and in fact the Samsungs do not need a 3D source to produce a 3D picture as they can generate a 3D image from a 2D source (although it does not even come close to the quality of a true 3D source)

Worth paying the extra for the starter pack. Did anyone buy this?
Does it come with 2 pairs of glasses or three?
I know the starter pack has 2 but is there one in the box with the tv?
