Including P&P this is £37.19

Still a good deal from what I can see though.

I was intrigued with a 5.9 megapixel camera but on checking the spec it is a 5 megapixel one.
Great camera for the beginner - mixed reviews on Amazon
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-Digimax-A503-Silver-Digital/dp/B000F3PNB8
but at this price it's worth the gamble.
Voted hot!

I have used Tecno before, very quick delivery, I brought this camera for my daughter at christmas at nearly double the price (not from tecno) and she is very happy with it.

AA batteries dont last too long.

This still looks a better deal.

A little more but worth the extra with optical zoom.

Just ordered it, looks like a good point and shoot camera :0)

keep away from vivitar.
It has a dodgy name for a reason.
They fall apart, cheap and very nasty.
Will gobble batteries in seconds (literally)

you can get good power rechargable AA batteries quite cheaply nowadays that last ages in a camera. 7dayshop had a set for £2.99 before postage and they last a couple of hours if camera continually on
#15
I like it

I recently ordered a camera from tecno.. Just a little titbit of info....... Tecno are actually Jessops under another name.. however the prices are often much cheaper than Jessops website dispite coming from the same distribution centre.

couldn't agree more... at least Samsung has some kudos behind the name. Will have to see how the cam is when I get it.

An interesting aside: ordered this with the standard delivery this morn - has now been dispatched and due date is tomorrow - speedy!

Aghhhh! paid £63 including P+P last sunday thu tescos direct.:-(
I wanted something small a light and reasonable quality.
Carrying a digital SLR on holidays is not ideal.

Using AA batteries is useful you can always use hi capacity rechargeables and if your really stuck most stores sell AA's.

Stay away from vivitar digi cameras well below samsung quality.
The new samsung digital slr GX -10 is a rebranded Pentax which has an excellent reputation.

I have one of these cameras (actually 2, long story) and it is great!

Fantastic quality imho.

i am so disappointed, i had my eye on this when it was first posted.it seemed ideal for my almost teenager as an early birthday pressie for his first trip abroad with his school football team in 3 weeks time.

i let kids use pc and now its gone,:-( think i've learned a lesson to strike when irons hot.

Anyone know of any other good deals on cameras for an almost 13 year old? I would be grateful of any advice

thanks hot dealers

there was a nikon posted on here yesterday for about £50 on amazon. also, try googling 'fuji refurb camera's' and you will see there are some good deals (£45 i think is cheapest) and they are reputable as it's official Fuji.
#25
I ordered one earlier for my gf at £37, this is a bargain.

#26
